Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of the FixFox platform operated by Individual Entrepreneur Giorgi Philauri ("FixFox", "we", "us"). By creating an account, booking a service, or otherwise using the platform, you agree to these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using FixFox you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract, and accept these Terms in full. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
2. Description of Service
FixFox is an online marketplace connecting customers with vetted independent service partners offering cleaning and related home services in Georgia. FixFox provides the booking, communication, and payment infrastructure; the underlying service is performed by the partner.
3. Accounts and Eligibility
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information at registration and to keep it up to date. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law.
4. Bookings and Service Scope
Each booking confirms a specific service, scope, address, date and time, and price displayed in the platform at the moment of confirmation. Additional work outside the confirmed scope may incur additional fees, agreed in advance between customer and partner via the platform.
5. Payment Terms
Prices are displayed in Georgian Lari (GEL) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Payment is processed via our payment provider at the time of booking or upon service completion, depending on the service type. By paying you authorise FixFox to charge the chosen payment method for the agreed amount.
6. Cancellation and Refunds
Cancellations are governed by our Refund and Cancellation Policy, available at /refund. In summary: free cancellation up to 48 hours before the booking; cancellations within 48 hours may incur a fee. Partner no-shows entitle the customer to a full refund. Service-quality disputes must be raised within 24 hours of completion.
7. Partner Obligations
Partners using the platform agree to provide services with reasonable care and skill, to arrive on time, to respect the customer's property, and to comply with all applicable laws (including tax and labour obligations). Partners are independent contractors and not employees of FixFox.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FixFox is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from the use of the platform. Where services are performed by partners, our liability is limited to the booking value of the affected service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, gross negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
9. Dispute Resolution
If a dispute arises regarding service quality, the customer should raise it via the in-app review or by emailing hello@fixfox.ge within 48 hours of service completion. FixFox will mediate in good faith between customer and partner and, where appropriate, issue a partial or full refund or arrange a remediation visit.
10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Georgia. Any dispute that cannot be resolved through good-faith mediation will be submitted to the competent courts of Tbilisi.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or through the platform at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
